Thomas Montroy

Losing your mom is tough enough. It’s harder when you’re in the middle of a playoff run, less than 3 weeks before you graduate high school.

On May 6th, 2019, Thomas Montroy lost his mom to cancer.

On May 7th, Thomas Montroy won a State Championship for tennis.

Less than 24 hours after his mother, Auraree, passed away, Thomas raised Brookwood’s 7A State Championship trophy. A State Championship is already important enough, but he had even more reason to play that day.

Thomas starts college at Kennesaw State soon, so we decided to hook him up with a PS4 to keep him busy... but we have a feeling his 17-credit-hour schedule will keep him busy enough!

Keep making your mom proud, Thomas! Good luck with your college journey! ❤️
